By the intersection, down towards the main road, are several graffiti paintings that stretch along the entire wall. They were created by some ten artists during a graffiti competition that was held during the Hoodfredsfestivalen, which was created by the magazine Gringo 2006, together with Subtopia.
The Hoodfredsfestival toured around Stockholm suburbs in the early 2000s and was created by the entrepreneur Brox Worky together with Gringo. The idea was to create a festival which they themselves missed. Gringo was run by second-generation immigrants and was about immigrant culture. The founder of the magazine, Carlos Rojas, grew up in Botkyrka and had an office with the magazine Epigon when Subtopia was called Kulturhuset Rotemannen and the decision to be here was natural.
The graffiti wall you see in front of you contains some of the contributions that were created and since its origin, has stood almost untouched. Every step you take along the wall different details, symbols, and colors appear.
